Eyebrow restoration is as much an art as a science. “Follicular units” are placed into tiny incisions in the desired brow pattern. Care is taken during this follicular unit transplantation (FUT) to place the hairs with precision, so they grow in the correct direction and at the same angle as the surrounding hair. The aesthetics of defining an arch that will naturally complement your underlying facial structure as well as your features, and provide the results you desire, requires both surgical and artistic expertise.

-How long will it take to see hair transplant results?
After a few days, the grafts will blend in with the existing hair. During the first 1to 3 weeks, new hairs will appear to be growing quickly.
Typically, hair growth starts within 2 to 4 months. Hair growth occurs in cycles, with each cycle starting a few days or weeks from the previous cycle.By 6 months, most people can see the effect of the process, and by 12 months, the growth and bulk will have reached 90% of its total growth. Hair can, and sometimes does, continue to mature for as long as another 24 months following surgery.
-When can a second hair transplant be scheduled?
A second hair transplant procedure can be scheduled as early as 6 months after the previous procedure. Most patients will wait 1 year after their
procedure for full growth of the previous transplant to confirm the results before starting the next.
-Will I continue to lose my remaining hair?
A hair transplant provides you new hair in the balding area of the scalp but cannot prevent loss of existing hair. Please speak to your patient advisor and surgeon about available options that can help to prevent any further loss of your existing hair.
-What is the difference between a FUE and FUT hair transplant?
The FUT hair transplant method, commonly referred to as follicular unit transplantation or the ‘strip method’, involves the removal of a strip of skin
from the donor area, usually at the back of the head. This strip is then divided into individual follicular units under a microscope, before being prepared for re-insertion into the recipient area. Follicular unit extraction (FUE), sometimes referred to as follicular transfer (FT),
is commonly used as an alternative to FUT when the scalp is too tight for a strip excision, and also enables the surgeon to harvest finer hair from the napeof the neck, often for use around the frontal hairline or even for a facial hair transplant, usually the eyebrows.
Not always. Both FUE and FUT present their own set of advantages and disadvantages. The ‘right’ method depends on your personal requirements. To answer this question we request that you submit an inquiry and we’ll contact you with our recommendations.
